Avoid Fake Sellers – Buy Safely from Fusion Phones

Fake Facebook Pages Warning – Protect Yourself from Scammers

Scammers are creating fake Facebook pages pretending to be Fusion Phones. These fraudulent pages trick customers into sending money via bank transfer for devices that do not exist. Fusion Phones does not sell phones via bank transfer.

We only sell through our retail store in Southport, Gold Coast and our official website: fusionphones.com.au.

We take this issue very seriously and are actively working with authorities to remove these fake accounts.

How to Identify a Fake Seller

  • We do NOT accept bank transfers for phone purchases.
  • Our only official website is fusionphones.com.au.
  • We are actively working with police, Scamwatch, and Facebook to remove fake pages.
  • Fake sellers often advertise brand-new iPhones at unrealistically low prices.
  • They often include free gifts like watches, AirPods or AppleCare.
  • They refuse in-store pickup and push for online payments.
  • Scammers may use our ABN to appear legitimate.

How to Verify You’re Buying from the Real Fusion Phones

  • We do sell on Facebook Marketplace but only direct buyers to our Southport retail store.
  • Our ONLY official Facebook business page is facebook.com/FusionPhones.
  • If you're unsure, contact us directly before making any payment.

What We’re Doing About It

  • We have reported fake pages to Facebook, Scamwatch, and the police.
  • We are working with authorities to track down scammers.
  • We continuously monitor for new fraudulent listings.

What to Do If You’ve Been Scammed

If you suspect you’ve been scammed:

  • Report the fake page to Facebook.
  • Report the scam to Scamwatch and contact your bank.
  • If you need help to verify detials, contact us directly.
