In-Store Phone Buyback Service: Terms & Conditions
1. Acceptance of Terms: By participating in our in-store buyback program, you acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
2. Ownership and Legal Rights:
- You must be the sole and rightful owner of the device being presented for buyback.
- Devices found to be lost, stolen, or otherwise acquired unlawfully will not be eligible for buyback and may be reported to police.
3. Device Evaluation:
- Our technicians will assess the device's condition and specifications in-store. If discrepancies are found between your description and the actual condition, the initial quote may be adjusted.
- If devices are found to have any form of liquid damage, physical damage, or other forms of tampering not selected in initial quote, the final offer may be revised.
4. Data Security:
- We will attempt to reset devices to factory settings and erase all content. However, you are responsible for removing personal data.
- If a device has an active iCloud, Google, or similar account, you must know the password to sign out post-evaluation before any payment can be made.
5. Pricing and Payment:
- To lock in the quoted price, you must fill in your details and submit the price lock. Your device must be presented to us and inspected within 14 days to receive the quoted price, if bought to us after this period, you may need to get a new updated price.
- Device prices are subject to market fluctuations. Our website prices are updated regularly.
- The final payment is determined after our technicians' evaluation.
- Payments will be made via cash or bank transfer, with transfers potentially taking up to 24 hours based on bank processing.
6. Identification and Proof:
- Valid photo identification (e.g., Australian driver's license or passport) is required.
- For high-value items, we may request proof of purchase. Failure to provide such proof may result in buyback rejection.
7. Additional Items: Accessories or items brought with the device (chargers, covers, etc.) may be recycled or disposed of and may not be returned if your device needs to be returned.
8. Rejection: We reserve the right to reject any device for buyback, especially if it doesn't meet our terms or there are discrepancies in the provided information.
9. Contractual and Account Locks: Devices still on a plan, under contract, or tied to active accounts are not eligible for buyback.
10. Changes to Terms: We may update or modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers are encouraged to review these terms periodically.
